Support literacy with a monthly donation
For $5/month you provide essential learning materials like journals, pencils, books, and clipboards for one child. Our Word Scientists document the world around them as they investigate words and nature... lots of paper, pencils, drawing materials, and field journals are needed!
At $10/month you provide one week of WordLab. In small groups, children become word scientists investigating the stories that words tell as they explore the world around them. Children apply scientific practices to studying language AND nature, like observing the details of a leaf and recording their data.
Your $20/month donation, supports our sliding-scale offerings to allow all children — regardless of ability to pay — to get the support they need for reading and writing. With your support we’re able to offer sliding scale spots in all our programs: WordLab, 1:1 Tutoring/Ed Therapy, and Summer Camp.
$40/month provides the training, and materials needed for one Teaching Fellow. Our Teaching Fellowship program immerses educators in the world of teaching reading as a science. Fellows receive specialized training, ongoing professional development, and weekly support from our tight-knit learning community.
