Join us to dance, move, and play along with some of our favorite nature-based books!
With help from our friends at the Oakland Literacy Coalition, we’re inviting families and children to experience the adventure of great books while taking in the beauty of nature in some of our favorite Oakland parks.
Read, Sing, Dance. Repeat.
Our Storytime is led by seasoned educators, reading experts and occasional guest readers. Special guests include:
Local authors and poets
Yoga, dance, and movement instructors
Youth readers
Naturalists and plant and animal scientists
We fill every minute with meaningful connection, enriching literacy experiences, and lots and LOTS of giggles.
